Taiwan, India Seek Cooperation Opportunities on a Joint Workshop
March 11, 2016

Taiwan's Ministry of Science & Technology (MOST) and India's Department of Science & Technology (DST) held the Indo-Taiwan Joint Workshop on Digital Technologies for Societal Use in Delhi, India, from March 8 to 9, discussing about applications of digital technologies in traffic, agricultural and rural development, health care, equipment for the disabled, environmental protection, and e-government, reported China Times on March 10. Except for e-government in that infrastructure in India is yet to meet the required conditions, India expects to initially work with Taiwan on other aspects. In addition to digital technology applications, the two countries can also complement each other and seek more cooperation opportunities in the development of information, communications, and electronics industries in the future.
